Online negotiations were held with representatives of the Open Data Watch organization

On December 30, 2020, Goskomstat, with the support of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan, held online talks with representatives of the Open Data Watch organization, which is responsible for the international open data rating Open Data Inventory (ODIN) Jamison Crowell and Caleb Rudow.

At this event, an agreement was reached to widely publicize, through the website of the Open Data Watch organization, that the Republic of Uzbekistan has achieved the highest growth in the world in the Open Data Inventory (ODIN) rating.

A preliminary agreement was also reached to hold joint seminars, trainings and webinars between Open Data Watch and Goskomstat in 2021.

These plans will create an opportunity for further development of the open data sphere in our country and improve the position of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the ODIN rating and other world ratings and indices that evaluate open data.
