Open Data Dictionary
• Information resource - information, data Bank, database in electronic form as part of the information system;
• Owner of information resources or information systems — a legal or natural person who owns, uses and disposes of information resources or information systems;
• Open data - information posted on the Internet in the form of systematic data organized in a format that ensures its automatic processing without prior change by a person (machine-readable form), for repeated, free and free use;
• Open data inventory - A systematic list of open data sets that allows you to automatically search for open data sets and obtain key parameters of these sets, including hyperlinks required to access open data sets;
• Open data format – data disclosure in structured machine-readable form (XML, CSV, JSON, RDF, and others);
• CSV – (Comma-Separated Values) a text format used to represent tabular data. Each row in the file is one row in the table. The values of individual columns are separated from each other by a delimiter (comma,), semicolon (;) or tab character set in the system;
• HTML+Microdata– a set of methods for semantic data markup using HTML language elements. Provides the ability to automatically read the included HTML document attribute information while maintaining standard functionality (visual viewing of the document using a browser);
• JSON – (JavaScript Object Notation) — a text-based data exchange format based on JavaScript and commonly used with this language. As many other text formats, JSON is easy to read by people.
• XML – (eXtensible Markup Language) — markup language recommended by World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The XML specification describes XML documents and partially describes the behavior of XML processors (programs that read XML documents and provide access to their content);
• Portal Operator – legal entity carrying out activities for the operation of the Portal, including the processing of information contained in the database of the Portal;
• Open data supplier – state authorities providing the portal operator with open data sets for their placement on the Portal;
• Users – individuals and legal entities that access public data using the Portal.
