Today it has been 13 days, as the reception of applications for participation in the competition "Open Data Challenge" (the Hackathon).

During this time on the site https://data.gov.uz/ru/challenge/register 39 teams out of 128 people have already been registered.

We remind you that participants wishing to participate in the contest must register by November 25, 2018.

The main events of the Hackathon will be held from November 30 to December 2 at Inha University in Tashkent. On November 30, participants of the Hackathon will take part in trainings and master classes, which will be held by the involved experts. On December 1 and 2, participants will develop new socially useful projects on the basis of open data on the basis of the knowledge gained at the trainings and recommendations of mentors.

The jury will evaluate the works of the participants and determine the winners in three categories: the best project for the "Smart city", the best business project based on open data and the best project for the generation (transformation) of open data.The award ceremony will take place on December 7. In addition to the main prizes and gifts, the organizers provided the Grand Prix — a trip to Madrid. Only one team can qualify for the Grand Prix, which will be determined by an Expert jury from among the teams that took first place in three categories.

The Grand Prix winner will have the opportunity to participate in the world Congress of digital business, which will be held on may 21-23, 2019 in Madrid (Spain). This is a unique opportunity to spend time productively, to gain incomparable experience and knowledge, to communicate live with world-class industry experts.
